  1. This most likely has something to do with the dollar etc… Petroyuan is slowly making big gains and nobody is speaking about it.

  2. JP Morgan is down, Deutsche Bank down… The broader picture is when JP starts to bleed after Deutsche Bank's downgrade / failure… They'll hopefully halt the manipulation of Silver and let it reset allowing it to go over $1,000. Silver, the new Bitcoin!
Then, JP Morgan will reappear with a better than expected 2nd or 3rd quarter instead of going down with Deutsche & the Italian Banks.

  3. The way I understand it is that as US bond yields increase higher relative to those of foreign nations, foreign nations buy up US dollars to buy US bonds which puts downward pressure on yields. I’m not arguing that the Fed doesn’t suppress yields but I think you failed to see this connection to whats going on in Europe

  4. Greg – what about high yield bonds! JNK We have divergence between the two. One eyeball is exploding, the other is imploding.

  5. In my assessment you had bond short covering and a flight to safety. I’ll be watching Deutsche Bank. When DB hit single digits contagion will be epic.

  6. As an italian, i can tell you our FTSE MIB is going back to 17.000, probably 12.000 too. I'm talking about a 50% downfall.
We are pretty used to this in the last 10 years but soon (october) the QE will end and well, bye bye… Default time.

  7. told 4 weeks ago….watch out for Italia. I was there during the elections. They truly have TOO MUCH democracy. US treasuries are acting like there is recession on. I think yields will go back up eventually and this Italian thing will be forgotten for awhile.

  8. Greg how to i look at the bond market charts? do i search the ticker box or what? im trying to keep an eye on the bond market but do not know how.

  9. five bucks says the sun rises in the east tomorrow,
    and somewhere on this planet,
    it will rain.
