MRE 13. Possibly the oldest market in Tokyo, the 436 year old Boroichi ボロ市 (which means “rag market”) takes place during two sessions in a year, January 16-17 and December 16-17, and is one of the BEST local markets with some of the most amazing must eat street food in Tokyo, Japan!
Boroichi is a HUGE flea market in Setagaya where more than 700 vendors sell antiques, hand made good, and delicious food to over 200,000 visitors. It’s so packed, just like the trains!!
The food here is not only delicious, but also pretty inexpensive! Japan might be expensive, but you can definitely find cheap street food in Tokyo! Most of the incredible and fresh treats here only cost between 200-600 yen!!
Make sure you pay a visit to Boroichi in December or January as its the best flea market in Tokyo!
